NW Plus Credit Union announced Tuesday 3/14/2023 that is has been recognized as an official Juntos
Avanzamos credit union. This designation is awarded to credit unions that are committed to serving and
empowering Hispanic and immigrant consumers, providing safe, affordable and relevant financial
services.
To earn the Juntos Avanzamos designation, the credit union completed an extensive application process
highlighting its capacity and experience working with and servicing its immigrant communities.
Employing bilingual, culturally-competent staff, accepting alternate forms of identification and offering
ITIN lending to its Hispanic and immigrant members.
We welcome Northwest Plus to an effort that is now more important than ever. This designation
recognizes the groundbreaking work you, and your team have done to meet the needs of low-income

NW Plus Credit Union has Given Back Over 2 Million Dollars to its Members in the Past 4 Years.

Everett, Washington  Once again, NW Plus Credit Union is pleased to announce that
on March 17 th , 2023 our 4th annual Member Loyalty Bonus will disburse to over 9,100
eligible members, totaling more than $344,000. nw+|cu's Member Loyalty Bonus
rewards both savers and borrowers for their overall relationship with the credit union.
nw+|cu is pleased that our efforts in 2022 continued to provide us the good fortune of being able to say we have returned over $2 million to our members for their continued loyalty over the past 4 years.

2022 was a year of immense growth and change. We undertook a complete core
system conversion that also overhauled many ancillary products and services including
our online banking platform. This tested our mutual resolve and I am happy to say that
while not entirely perfect, we are on our way. We also introduced Early Pay ACH, in
branch electronic marketing and in June were designated as a Juntos Avanzamos
Credit Union recognizing us as an inclusive financial partner for our immigrant and
underserved communities. With all of these trials, challenges and accomplishments the
credit union finished 2022 strong, and our success has enabled nw+|cu the ability to
once again give back to our members. said Torrie Ramos, nw+|cu's President and
CEO. The motivation behind our Member Loyalty Bonus is to thank our members for
