The Party in the Parks & Kids Fun Run will take place at Mill Creek Sports Park on Thursday, June 26th from 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Just like previous Party in the Parks events, we’ll have plenty of activities, games, and food for everyone.
The Party in the Parks: Kids Fun Run for 2025 will feature three different races with age-appropriate distances for kids in kindergarten through fifth grade:
• Kindergarten & 1st Grade: 1 lap (.25 mile)
• 2nd & 3rd Grade: 3 laps (.75 mile)
• 4th & 5th Grade: 6 laps (1.5 miles)
• 2nd & 3rd Grade: 3 laps (.75 mile)
• 4th & 5th Grade: 6 laps (1.5 miles)
Registration is required to race, and spots are limited. Each age group/race distance is limited to 50 participants each and registration will be open from May 19 through June 25th (or until full).
• There is a limit of 150 participants for the entire race (50 per category).
• There is no-day of registration. Online registration will close the day before.
• All registered participants will get a Fun Run race bib and a swag bag.
• Check-in for all registered participants will take place between 4:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. This guarantees that all participants will have access to parking and the many other activities at the Party in the Parks event.
• Top 3 finishers in each category will be recognized on the winner’s podium after all races have concluded. This race will not be timed officially, although volunteers will be tracking the top 3 finishers in each category.
• Parents must be in attendance with their children at check-in and during the race, although the racecourse is for kids only. (parents allowed on course for K/1st). Parents can watch and cheer from the sidelines.

Concessions will include Mill Creek Little League and Yay Big. Yay High. Yay Ice Cream!
