Members come from all facets of the community and include local business people\, clergy\, and retired business/military persons. They all have one thing in common\, a desire to perform service and give back to the local and worldwide community. See www.millcreekrotary.org for more information about the Rotary Club of Mill Creek. \nWhy an auction? Each year the members of the Rotary Club of Mill Creek hold one large fundraising event\, the auction\, to benefit the Mill Creek Rotary Foundation. The proceeds enable the club to fund all of its projects. Held each year\, almost two hundred people attend the auction/dinner event. Since the club was formed\, it has raised over one million dollars towards local and international projects!

He oversees twelve departments\, including Paine Field Airport\, Public Works\, and Human Services\, impacting everything from permitting to emergency response. He represents Snohomish County on the boards of the National Association of Counties\, County Executives of America\, Sound Transit\, and the Puget Sound Regional Council. Dave holds a master’s in forest ecology and a BS in fisheries science from the University of Washington. \nLiat Carlyle | Senior Analyst with Earth Finance\nLiat Carlyle brings experience in state and federal climate policy and transportation decarbonization with a focus in renewable fuels. She works on strategically scaling renewable fuels for high impact decarbonization. Liat’s work has focused on policy analysis and impact\, funding opportunities at the state and federal level\, and regulatory and legislative advocacy around technology-neutral public policies for meaningful climate action. Prior to her work in climate\, she researched COVID-19 impact on worldview and individual practices and received her B.S. in Public Health from California Polytechnic State University. \nBrett Smith | CEO of Propeller Airports\nBrett is the Founder and CEO of Propeller Airports\, which developed and operates the award-winning passenger terminal at Paine Field near Seattle—America’s first privately run commercial terminal. Under his leadership\, the airport surpassed one million passengers in its first year. Brett also leads Propeller Aero Services\, supporting business aviation and cargo operations. Previously\, he co-founded Vortex Control Technologies\, which created drag-reduction technology for military and commercial aircraft\, and ei3 Corporation\, a software firm advancing sustainable manufacturing. He began his career as an aviation analyst and helped create the NYSE Airline Index. A licensed pilot with over 1\,900 flight hours\, Brett serves on several nonprofit and business boards. He holds a B.A. from Emory University and lives in Seattle. \nDow Constantine | CEO of Sound Transit\nSound Transit CEO Dow Constantine is a dedicated regional leader with nearly thirty years of service to the Puget Sound region. His appointment as CEO comes after nearly two decades of continuous service on the Sound Transit Board\, including multiple terms as Chair and Vice Chair. Through four terms as King County Executive\, he led one of the largest regional governments in the United States. Each scholarship reciepient will receive $2000 from our Chamber through our fundraising efforts that include our Mill Creek Festival & Street Fair\, our Mill Creek Classic Charity Golf Tournament\, and our great Chamber Members. \nThis event sponsored by: Chick-fil-A \n11:15am – 11:45am – Open Networking // Business Showcase Tables\n11:45am – Food Ready\n12pm – Meeting Starts\n1pm – Meeting Ends\n1:15pm – Committee Meetings Start for those who are meeting \nMember – $15 pre-pay or $20 the day of. For the purpose of food planning\, the cut-off for pre-pay will be the Friday before the Tuesday meeting\, allowing us enough time to work with our lunch providers on numbers.\nGuests – $20 at all times. First-time guests receive their lunches on the house\, but after that\, the $20 will apply. \n50/50 raffle: 1 ticket/$5 or 5 tickets/$20!  \nAttendance and raffle tickets available for purchase below! \n\nChamber Members are invited to submit an application to show interest in having a display table at our Monthly Lunch & Learn events!\nPrice is only $30 and you’ll receive table space to showcase yourself and your business before\, during\, and after our scheduled Lunch & Learn meeting.
