Each scholarship reciepient will receive $2000 from our Chamber through our fundraising efforts that include our Mill Creek Festival & Street Fair\, our Mill Creek Classic Charity Golf Tournament\, and our great Chamber Members. \nThis event sponsored by: Chick-fil-A \n11:15am – 11:45am – Open Networking // Business Showcase Tables\n11:45am – Food Ready\n12pm – Meeting Starts\n1pm – Meeting Ends\n1:15pm – Committee Meetings Start for those who are meeting \nMember – $15 pre-pay or $20 the day of. For the purpose of food planning\, the cut-off for pre-pay will be the Friday before the Tuesday meeting\, allowing us enough time to work with our lunch providers on numbers.\nGuests – $20 at all times. SUMMARY:Party in the Parks & Kids Fun Run
DESCRIPTION:The Party in the Parks & Kids Fun Run will take place at Mill Creek Sports Park on Thursday\, June 26th from 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Just like previous Party in the Parks events\, we’ll have plenty of activities\, games\, and food for everyone.\nThe Party in the Parks: Kids Fun Run for 2025 will feature three different races with age-appropriate distances for kids in kindergarten through fifth grade:\n• Kindergarten & 1st Grade: 1 lap (.25 mile)• 2nd & 3rd Grade: 3 laps (.75 mile)• 4th & 5th Grade: 6 laps (1.5 miles)\nRegistration is required to race\, and spots are limited. Each age group/race distance is limited to 50 participants each and registration will be open from May 19 through June 25th (or until full).\nRegister Here!\n• There is a limit of 150 participants for the entire race (50 per category).• There is no-day of registration. Online registration will close the day before.• All registered participants will get a Fun Run race bib and a swag bag.• Check-in for all registered participants will take place between 4:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. This guarantees that all participants will have access to parking and the many other activities at the Party in the Parks event.• Top 3 finishers in each category will be recognized on the winner’s podium after all races have concluded. This race will not be timed officially\, although volunteers will be tracking the top 3 finishers in each category.• Parents must be in attendance with their children at check-in and during the race\, although the racecourse is for kids only. (parents allowed on course for K/1st).
